This archive exists because someone chose not to let history scatter. For years, Lolo Morales González has gathered names, episodes, documents, photographs, family ties, and fragments of memory in order to give them order, permanence, and meaning within a living structure of legacy.
No se trata solamente de conservar datos del pasado. Se trata de custodiar una continuidad: la de una familia, una cultura de trabajo, una ética de vida, una memoria urbana, una herencia afectiva y una visión que todavía sigue proyectándose hacia el presente y hacia el futuro.
This is not merely about preserving data from the past. It is about safeguarding continuity: that of a family, a culture of work, an ethic of life, an urban memory, an affective inheritance, and a vision that still projects itself into the present and toward the future.
En este sentido, el autor no aparece aquí solo como narrador. Aparece como testigo, descendiente y responsable de transmisión. Su tarea no ha sido embellecer artificialmente la historia, sino rescatarla, organizarla y presentarla con la dignidad que merece, para que los que vinieron antes no sean borrados y los que vendrán después encuentren una base firme sobre la cual reconocerse.
In this sense, the author appears here not only as narrator, but as witness, descendant, and bearer of transmission. His task has not been to artificially embellish history, but to rescue it, organize it, and present it with the dignity it deserves, so that those who came before are not erased and those who come after may find a firm foundation upon which to recognize themselves.
Este archivo, por tanto, debe leerse también como un acto de lealtad: lealtad a la sangre, a la memoria, a la verdad familiar y a la continuidad de un nombre que no quiere perderse en el ruido del tiempo.
This archive, therefore, should also be read as an act of loyalty: loyalty to bloodline, to memory, to family truth, and to the continuity of a name that does not wish to be lost in the noise of time.
